Dr. Amaechi Anakwue is a prominent Nigerian broadcast journalist, political economist, policy and media consultant, as well as author. He currently anchors Focus Nigeria on African Independent Television (AIT) and Political Platform on Raypower Nigeria, where he serves as head of News Operations. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, Abuja. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Development Studies, an M.Sc. in International Relations, and a B.Sc. in Political Science. Dr. Anakwue is the author of at least two academic books.
